We recently took part in some mock interviews as part of the Mahdlo youth work project ‘Get a Job’ and it was fantastic to see so many young people wanting to impress us with their skills and qualifications. Education and Community Lead Ben Ingham took a couple of hours off from standing in as an engineer for the day to help the interviewees perfect their interview techniques and build some confidence.

Ben said “What most young people don’t seem to realise is that personality can go a long way when you’re sitting in front of someone telling them you want to work for them. Today I have seen two or three really good candidates that I would definitely offer work experience to and one that would be perfect for a position working at JBGroup. I want to continue working with the Get A Job Project to make sure that future employees are equipped with all the skills they need.”
